UDAP
UDAP is our non-profit agency that strives to help our youth develop musical skills and self knowledge to better their lives. We challenge governments, public officials and members of the public to recognize the vast potential of kids in their communities.
We team with youth workers at youth organisations around the world to develop locally relevant, innovative training that engages kids through interactive music activities and we are continually adopting new innovative practices that enhance the effectiveness of our program.
We hope to create a cultural shift in the way individuals and groups develop new skills and work together so young people will have improved access to opportunities and resources.
Our innovative approach to engaging our youth uses interactive music workshops to spark discussion with kids about how to approach issues they face on the street. UDAP empowers kids to develop safe and productive ways to earn a living and develop their talents. We make special efforts to gain access to these young people and to understand and respond to their individual needs. Having worked with many kids, UDAP is honoured to have been recognised for our work by a number of prestigious bodies.
The dream which once was Potential Music has now become a reality, the journey for Potential Music has now reached extraordinary results and we are proud to announce our Urban Youth Development Program has begun.
If you are or know of any family’s with children that want to learn the basic art of music or musicianship, Potential Music is offering full Training and mentor-ship at no cost to the family.
Conditions apply this is strictly for the children who’s family’s are not fortunate enough, this programme is especially designed for children with the ability or desire to learn music although lack financial capability.
